The Bowery + Bull Creek Distillery

The Bowery Even Space Patio

Description

The winter of 2017 brought change to the back half of The Bowery event space. The ACS team remodeled what was a microbrewery to become the home to Bull Creek Distillery. A new entry was added from the east parking lot. A wood plank stamp was used under the cedar pergola on the main walkway into the new space. The stamp switches to Belgian Slate where guests enter either the distillery or the outdoor event space. Wide steps lit with louvered LED step lights open the patio up to a raised artificial turf used for events and league sports. The turf is surrounded by a stamped border and additional steps down to the ceremony location. The new layout provides many points of access for patrons, allowing them to explore the venue and settle in one of the many seating areas.

Client Reviews

Every aspect of my experience with ACS was wonderful. From the design to the finished product I could not have asked for more. I purchased a new home and had ACS build a patio and stone wall. In purchasing a new home I dealt with numerous companies and contractors, but no one was more accommodating, professional or competent than my ACS estimator. I wish every homeowner’s experience could go as smoothly. Thank you ACS and thank you Joe!

ACS is an extremely talented and professional group of people. We have used ACS for two projects and the service we received was outstanding both times. Our new driveway and patio look amazing!

ACS did an excellent job from design through construction on my stamped patio. I would highly recommend them. Very professional.

Great work and great people. They worked with Studio 804, an educational nonprofit design build program associated with the University of Kansas. All work including polished concrete and epoxy floors was done at cost while teaching the students every step of the way. The result was a beautiful floor contributing to the overall success of our building. [Galileo’s Pavilion – Johnson County Community College, Overland Park, KS]
